I have a v1.0 xbox with l.e.d's in the controller port numbers and i modified the light around the eject button to a new color.

 it worked fine for awhile then i turned it on heard what sounded like the PS board hissing, then all the lights i put on stopped working

The dvd rom, modchip, and the HD work fine should i get a new PS or did i burn my l.e.d.'s out somehow ?

I checked all the wiring and its all fine
