Upgrading Hard Drive
« on: October 06, 2005, 03:47:00 PM »

I have a 160 GB HD in my xbox right now with evox dash running.  I originally used Slayers to format and install the HD, and I also locked it via Slayers.

Now I want to upgrade my XBOX hdd to a 400 GB one, and this is what I plan to do:

1) Unlock the current HDD using Slayers
2) Take out old HDD, place in new 400 GB HDD
3) Format new HDD via Slayers (install EvoX) and lock via Slayers
4) Put old 160 GB drive in my computer and transfer all my games and videos over to new HDD

Now, will step 1 allow me to do step 4?  Is there anything else I need to do before step 3?  Any help would be appreciated to get me going.

I have 50+ games on my 160 GB HDD, and some gamesaves (where are these stored btw??)  I want to keep all of those, thus I'm going to put the old HDD in my computer and FTP to new xbox drive.

Let me know guys, Thanks!

EDIT: I HAVE XECUTER 2.6 LITE CHIP INSTALLED WITH 5032 BIOS FLASHED.

It has to be unlocked before using it in your PC's OS.
