Looks like it's almost time to get rid of this old technology (TCP, POP3, SMTP, X86, ect.).
Here's the link to the article...A huge hole. It'll take a while for any totally new technology to take hold. Until then I think they'll just keep adapting the old stuff to keep their heads above water. Eventually though, they'll need a life preserver.
