I was watch TSS today it was fridays 01-16-04 shows,  and yeah "he made the mod" to have a remote switch in the controller to turn the xbox on and off.   Since TSS is so "legal" I think the auther that has the tutorial on Xbox-scene, should sue TSS for stealing his/her idea and having yoshi claim it on nationl TV AS HIS OWN.

I can just remember the south park episode now.......  laugh.gif

I dunno, I'm glad that they at least have XBox Mods on there, and have the guts to do them, and most of Yoshi's shit is original (like that lightening case mod) and the Yoshi Boxx (etc.)

Original?

What makes you think the Yoshi Box is original when it appeared 2 years ago?

Better Boxes were done before.. and definitely AFTER him.

The biggest problem.. is that TSS caters to the bottom feeders.. who don't know any better.  So when they see Yoshi do something.. they assume he came up with it.

I havent seen anything like it before  uhh.gif

I suppose there's nothing too original on tv anymore, any mod could be disputed on being original or what not, but his lightening one i havent seen before either? I dunno, I'm glad they at least have a modding section (original or not)

I agree that it is a good thing that they at least have an xbox modding section on tv.  A lawsuit would donothing but make them stop having them and that would suck arse.  What they should do though is have a link to X-S on their site and mention it on the show when they are doing xbox mods.

Wasn't Yoshi's different because it was a wireless controller that had remote on/off? We have had the button in the corded controllers for a long time, but I don't remember anyone doing it in wireless. So.. unless I am wrong.. Yoshi can claim some original credit for his mod.

I still watch the techtv, mostly for the bit of comidy content and the catch all rehash.
It's nice to show for the people whom are not in a particular scene to see what others are doing.
As to claiming credit from the work of others, I'm betting that if they said for each project "This is from http://www.somemoddersweb.com" they'd look super lazy. It'd look like a heres what we found on the web show. Heck who knows, he may not have looked for a tut first and cooked the idea himself.
