EDIT: I have no problems with guns if they are in the proper hands ie. policemen, so I'm not saying that they are all bad or that I wish they were never invented.  If I had to pick something to un-invent it would probably be clothes.

umm what?

a small percentage of guns are actually used to kill or intimidate a person.

people use guns to kill animals, survival, hunt, sport, protection..... alot more then just people

i think you need to look at the bigger picture of what taking away guns would do to people and society

micheal moore is a peice of shit who cuts and pastes interviews together to make things appear in his way, he also falsly labels video clips.. such as the one of Charleston Heston holding the gun and saying they can take it out of his cold dead hands... in fact, that wasent in colorado like that fat peice of whale shit said, it was actually in north carolina.. a year later, and he was refering to a handmade gun he was just presented with.

HSDEMONZ... actually Ford didn't INVENT the car, some guy in Germany did, along w/ the internal combustion engine.  Ford just made it really popular in the US...  Anyways, Ford was a fuggin smart guy though, getting the assmebly line going.  I agree that without him, the country may not have developed as it has

I don't believe that univenting religion would be a very good idea, for one I AM a christian.  However, psycologically, religion is also an very uplifting experience for many people.  Although many problems on this world are caused by religious fanatics, alot of problems are also subdued by religion.  This is, once again, one of those topics that might be hard to find some good supporting evidence for that isn't put down by a rebuttle.

Oh and Charleton Heston ended EVERY ONE of his NHRA speeches with "From my cold dead hands."  In fact, that is ALL he said for his last speech of his resignation.  I'm not sayin that I dissaprove of Americans owning guns, I'm just saying that Micheal Moore did bring up some good points... anyways, to each his own.

Ford didnt invent the car. Daimler did, the guy who made Diamler mercedes which is now mercedes benz.  He made the first car.  Ford just made the assembly line which made automobile production cheap and easy and therfor more open to the public.

And guys, please, you have messed up this thread which I thought had good potential by making it war over if guns are good are not.  i wanted suggestions not a war.  

Religion isnt a feat of engineering so it isnt valid for my essay, guns, well, thats just kind of cliche.

I think the cell phone would be my best bet.
