My old receiver had a busted optical input, and I was fortunate to get a Kenwood 616 receiver for free from a local merchant (customer return).
The only problem is my old receiver came with an powered subwoofer with an "rca" style plug. This one has the red and black wire connections on the back, like the other speakers. From what I can tell the receiver itself has a "built in" 100 watt amp for the subwoofer.
Anyone know how I could use the old sub?
