NOT LOCKABLE.

I know this is a smaller Hard Drive, but I tried it for a friend and it is not lockable with Configmagic Final.

ive got a 160GB 7200rpm 8mb cache WD hardrive.  havent tried locking it yet...  still dont really see the point.  could one of you "enlighten" me?

(btw i got the drive for $148 and no tax)

You've got to lock the drive to use Xbox Live (or the Original Xbox BIOS).

I want to buy a Western Digital 40GB (WD400BB, 7200rpm, 2MB) is it lockable?
jp110099 do you have a 7200 rpm or a 5400 rpm doet it really matter how much rpm.

Locked Ok.
Used Slayers Auto Installer V 2.  This Software Rocks. biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

ALL Set Up And Running In About 15 Mins.

Can Someone Please Reply To Let Me Know If I Have To Install
Another Cooling Fan Because Of Puting A Bigger Hard Drive In.
