I like everything btw, cept AFI and New Found Glory.

Favorites are System of a Down, Rancid, Mustard Plug, Korn, Less than Jake and Mighty Mighty Bosstones.  I also like Live and Red Hot Chili Peppers.  Oh and Linkin Park is great.  I don't really care what they look like or if they are total sellouts that only play for money,  because if the music is good it doesn't matter.  Oh yea, and Pennywise.

Who is going to the Warped Tour this summer?  Hell yea!

I just read another post that said Blindside, like them too....

I HATE emo too.  I really don't like that gay pussy crap.  No offense to anyone who likes that!

Just kidding!  Offense intended.  You should listen to better music if you don't want to get made fun of!

Swedish death metal anyone? muhaha.gif

(ie: At the Gates, The Haunted, In Flames...etc)

One guitarist to rule them all. Yngwie Johann Malmsteen. I got to see him in concert twice a couple of years back. He was touring with Dio. I'll be seeing Dio this summer. Ronnie James Dio can still rock at the age of 62. Also at this summers concert will be Iron Maiden and Motorhead. It's going to be a kickass concert.

Yea, Yngwie was one of the guitarists I was talking about when I was saying the 80's had some of the most technically talented and creative musicians. He is a guitar god, along with Randy Rhoads (such a shame he died so young), Eddie Van Halen, and a few others.

O, and you mentioned Ronnie James Dio...did you ever listed to his stuff with Rainbow (with Deep Purple's Ritchie Blackmore)? I would definitely recommend that if you haven't heard any of it.

Believe me. I know all of Dio's music. I even have a a old record of his I bought when I was a teen. It was when he was in ELF. The album was Carolina County Ball.

Oh by the way to all you rap loving preppy kids with the short haircuts. Mullets Rule!!!!  Long hair will always be in style as far as I'm concerned.  beerchug.gif

Mullets are so nasty....lol....Course I'm thinking of growing one and going to the Mullet Convention in Tennessee this year... rolleyes.gif

Yes, Queen was a great band. Many people don't give them their proper credit in shaping the direction of rock in the years to follow.

Yea, Tupac and Biggie aren't old school; they wre from the early and mid 90's. IMO this time was rap's peak, it just seems to me that rap's gone downhill since Pac and Biggie died. Sure, there have been some decent artists since then, but no one really compares, especially since there were so many different sounding artists at that time.

You just illustrated my point about Queen not getting their proper credit. Nothing against you, because a lot of people don't realie that they were pretty important.
