I guess I'll answer this question honestly.  I'm a property adjuster for an insurance company since I got kicked out of college and lost my full scholarship studying ECE.  That's my full-time job, and I do PS2 and Xbox mod installs for extra cash.

i resigned a month ago and leave this wednesday  

i resigned as i am due to take a couple of years out to travel  . . . i dont start
until jan 2004 as one of the trips begins in Brazil at the Carnival in Rio (Feb 2004)

i am visiting North , Central and South America.  Easter Island, Tahiti,
New Zeland, Tazmainia, Australia, Japan, China and Russia.

Hopefully get a job in Oz installing Oz chip

i work at my schools tech department. i dont do too much, fix the occassional comp here and there. i make 7 an hour, which pays the rent. i need a better job.

I have been a Network Administrator at 2 different companies over the past 5 years. Just recently got laid off (they said they don't need a Net Admin). Now i'm trying to start my own business doing consulting work for home users needing their small home networks(wired or wireless) setup and help them with any computer problems they have. Also help them decide on a new or first computer to buy or have me build for them. The funny part is, now this last company that laid me off has called me almost every day since my last day asking all sorts of questions on how to do things and how to fix things. And just last week they're asking me to work for them as a contractor. Not sure if I want to do it because i'll be taken off unemployment and I doubt they're willing to pay me what i'll ask.

I am a tech at Best Buy making a 14/hr, more than some supervisors working on the floor are making. The job sucks royally.  I came on thinking it was just working with PCs.  No-like everyother department, its working directly with the customer and on the side fixing/upgrading.  All I have to say is bestbuysux.org.  

I just got an email from our school district this morning = they may have an opening as a network admin.  Sounds great, but considering I finished my BS in Computer Science, I dont know if that's an improvement or not.  

Gets me the weekends off though....
