This is the post from EOCF.....

I was discussing this over a few forums and now its finished.

So now I have my xbox with a built in router/wireless bridge. Works great so far. It's currently connected to shoutcast with XBMC streaming in music over the network with a graphics heavy visualization running. This is how I'm stress/heat testing it. It's also sitting on top of a warm VCR. If everything goes well for 24 hours then I know it was a complete success.

As requested I'll post some pics...

08 are the parts laid out
12 is the router top with the LEDs drying
16 router PCB mounted in lid
18, 19, 20 finished pics
22, 23 jewel pics - notice the green lights in 22, those are the status LEDs from the front of the router.
xboxrouter.jpg is an earlier pic from when I was testing it.

And yeah, testing is done. All is good.

It's a pity I didn't catch this topic from the start, to have some counter-productive input on this smile.gif

i would try and connect your xbox lan card to the uplink port, then having the other three sticking out the back, creating an xbox lan party. as for wireless hotels, get the firmware to switch bridge mode because 2 wireless routers running on ad-hoc mode wont connect to each other. also i want to see pics ! btw i was on here a while back and some kid was trying to make a portable xbox that ran off bateries and had a lcd, he ever do it ? (i know off topic but i answered  the guys problems !)
