I just want you to understand that....I have no beef with him.....if you locked the thread like that I would have been upset with you. But I know you never would have done something like that so here we are. You guys have a child on your mod team and still do nothing about it.

This is not meant to be a flame or speach just letting you know how it is. Criticizm, yes but I think it is warrented. I get the feeling that Cheerio's interest is not improving the forums but trying to be powerful and use his authority........I want what is best for the forums but I just don't think cheerio is the best for the forums.

It's odd but yesterday was the first day in a long time many of us had some fun. Even Noobvin stated that. It is sad but true. You may say "well M3 your posts are pointless and stupid" well it is to lighten things up and too have some fun......like i told Shanafan....when dealing with newbs a lot it is really easy to get burnt out. that is what happened to me...I D-S had told me the same had happened to him. ok well I am done take it as you will. I am sure Cheerio wants to come on in and defend himself.....which he always does but oh well. then he will say well you see why I lock threads and use the lame butt ps2 modchip example.

I'm out.

No I do not. I am not looking to moderate. No polls please. Especially on whether someone should mod or not. This isn't a campain for me to mod. It is to try to help the forums be what they once were

Syrus, ok, it has in recent days become what could be described by some as 'childish' in regards to Cheerio.

The problem is that in his short spell of moderating he has been wielding his 'power' over others to support his own ends. That to me is an abuse of a privilege.

He has locked threads for no reason and offered no explanation. He responds to critisism by resorting to childish flaming sessions.

It is for these reasons that members of this 'community' want to see a change. I realise that you shouldn't bow to pressure from the forums when deciding on the moderating team, but surely if a big enough disturbance is caused and enough voices call out it suggests that something has gone wrong.

My guess is cheerio is just to young to moderate.

He should learn that being a mod does not mean you have to react to everything.

Although I have to admit that I know of at least one instance in which he actually said something smart. So maybe he is capable of being a Mod, but he should get his act together. Quickly.
