the xbox consoles that are being sold @ $149.95 are refurbished as well . They do come with the same warranty as new though and if you are going to mod it anyway then why not save the $50.00 . I found a used console for sale for $129.95 [ not factory refurbished ] .

at my local EB store (southern USA). the xbox package (non-refurb) is $199.95 with a $50 rebate (which, i assume is an EB gift certificate)

Well those of you considering buying may want to hang on a bit longer , I just spoke with a M$ Xbox sales rep and he confirmed that the drop is coming on or about Thanksgiving
