some guy from another post -

just a short note to get things started.  Ive encountered some unomoodable xboxs in australia.  at first thought you may think that the installation of the chip was to blame.  however a few consoles from my local area were cropping up as unmoddable, with several attempts and different chips.  it was then that i started looking for anything different about them.....

the motherboard has the nvidia chip submounted on a pcb, interseting.....

will post more info and some photographs in 24hrs.

any thoughts on the matter?

I am in melbourne and this had to happen as MS$ is losing money on the hardware and with modding now they are losing money on software as well.
But like the ps1 and ps2 there will be a mod chip designed for them soon.

I was going to sell my modded xbox with homebrew mod and buy a new xbox so i could put in an PC Bioxx mod but now forget it and i will keep mine until more info appears.

Were any of the solder points changed?
