My Xbox Fraging

My xbox frags when i have the chip and when it is out. I have a solderless modchip. The chip is not working at all when it is on and doesn't boot up with the evox bios. any help would be appretiated.

so it frags even when teh chip isnt installed?

then the problem is with the xbox, and most likely the eeprom. thats a hard fix

look for any damage to the board. if you see anything, if you can, take a picture and post it

I couldn't take a picture but i found another picture online that shows what broke and is circled. How might i fix this?

well it looks like a surface mount reistor.

do you still have it, or has it dissapered?

I lost it but i can get another one from another xbox. How would i repair it.

just onsolder it from the old one, and solder it to the new mobo (one to be repaired).

just be careful not to put too much heat through it, just enough to melt the solder
