Can't you just buy an adapter for your outlet then hook the xbox to that adapter?  I wouldn't mess around with the power supply on the xbox.  I heard somebody fried his board that way.

i got a big problem, i got a 110 volt xbox (actually, 2 of them) and my country is 220 volts! is there a way to change my xbox to 220 volts? i've opened my xbox, and i've taken out the power thingie, looks like a computer one to me, but if i put one for a computer back in, it'll be too big sad.gif
anyone with a solution?

Unfortunately after viewing the 120 volt power supply, the components in the main side of the power supply cannot possibly be used in a 220 volt environment. For some reason MS found they needed to have two totally different pieces of equipment instead of just using a variable 100-250 volt supply. You may try and contact the manufacturer Delta Electronics Inc. if MS won't sell you one.

i'm from holland, so where could i get that thing, caus i think that factory is in the usa right?

I am going to order some replacement 120 volt power supply units. I will see what the cost of a 240 volt one would be.
