I was there, in fact, heres a photo of me and some chick - http://www.xbox.com.au/snaps/Upload/custom...ddcc545dae.jpg

Was kinda fun, but ALOT of waiting around.  I arrived at around 9am for signin with some friends and it wasnt until about 12:30ish that we actually threw any water balloons.    3000-odd people throwing 12 water balloons each (were prefilled thankfully) within a timespan of about 60 seconds was absolute carnage, although i managed to come off totally dry.   There were 2 teams arranged in the letters of XBOX 360 fighting against each other (green 'XBOX' vs gray '360').   We were in the first 'X' which meant nothing from the '360' team made it far enough up our end to hit us!

All in all, 20 bucks well spent, (and a free copy of Perfect Dark Zero).

Oh, and the announcer was a wanker.

to bad i missed it, but by the sounds of the layout they kinda fucked that up, great idea for an overhead shot of all the ppl, but like you said about the back there, you miss the best of the action

I wonder how much $$$ MS had to spend for this since they gave more than 3,000 shirts, bags, goggles, and balloons.
I definitely want to get one of those goggles though, will look for them on eBay.

Doesn't that mean you could hit them either? So you were launching your balloons into the other X, friendly fire!

It did sound like fun, if I was rich I would have been there!

Yep, impossible to hit the other team from the back.   Also hard to lob a water balloon 100 metres into the air!  (damn I wish I had taken my water balloon launcher!)  biggrin.gif

100bux says its not the coogee beach in perth, western australia. No one cares about western australia, except for the people that want our money from the mines.
