I originally posted to find out what was going on and didn't want this to turn into a flame war. I was hoping to play some games last night with some friends, but it just didn't work out and I created a FarCry map instead.

A lot of us do appreciate what you guys do and would pay for such a service. Imagine the whiney fucks if this happened to Live.

Anyway, thanks a lot and let us know when it's up and running.

Wow! I can't believe these FU%#ers! I was going to install Kai today after a long hitch offshore and some of you guys are bashing for the first apparent technical difficulty. Seriously looking forward to the X-link future. Please don't give up on the faithful! Banning those negative bastards from service would be great!

I agree xlink is a cool program and the fact that its free makes me not want to whin a damn bit. i mean i have yet to actually play a game on xlink cause i jus got it configured the toerh day and was ready to play a gmae ofhalo on there but no one seems to goto halo server anywho. i got it up and running went on and the server was down i guess my luck after just getting it configured. but what can ya do whining wont get things done faster shit happens go with the flow and have fun when its back up.

well heres an update guys,

Officially TheDaddy (flat235) (the main programmer/ideaman/owner of xlink) and TeXlink have left TeamXlink. What you guys need to understand is that XLink was originally built as program for TeXlink and TheDaddy to play system link games between themselves. Well obviously it exploded into what it is now, but it has also (lately) really gone down hill in terms of the community that was XLink.

For those of you that don't know, TheDaddy was spammed with tons of crap and this incident is not the only issue, rather it is the straw that broke the camels back.

What does this mean for Xlink? Well it's tough to say at this point, the first thing is that the development of Xlink::One will be put on hold until a new programmer is found, it also means that Xlink Kai servers may be delayed even more as we work everything out.

SixShot xlink kai being a community and not just someone where to play, I'm sure you have a group of online friends that also use kai and you have ways of contacting them. Surely you would have asked one of them and realised kai is done and it is not a p.c. error.

Xlink Admin please don't let the minority that flame bad mouth and generally have a bad attitude kill kai for the rest of us that enjoy it so much. And yes I do think it is just the minority that are idiots, most the people I get to play with are quite freindly and respectful. It just a shame that the minority always seem to stand out.

i am a member of a ghost recon 2 clan from kai. i came here to get info and sure as hell got it!. i couldnt belive what the heel went on on these forums, are you guys crazy?

? how can you diss admins for their response time (which was good time because most people are sleeping at 2 AM ) and expect everything to be ok? you should be thanking teamxlink for giviing us ALL a place to compete, have fun and make new friends. stop replying to this thread if you have nothing helpful to say, seriously grow up.

as of 1:20 PM est time, i have been posting on every clan website i have saved in my favorites list, to inform them on what happend to kai. i hope this helps people so they wont come here flaming aimlessly anymore.
