Can I please get simple instructions to play a game.

I've setup everything correctly.  

I launch with 'Engine only (for dashboards)'

I launch XBMC and see Games and Arenas

I choose Halo 2 for example,

It loads Halo 2 without any problems,  

Now how do I start playing a game.

You've "setup" everything correctly, but how do you know it works? You're supposed to make sure it works by using the PC and following the Quick Start Guide before doing anything on XBMC.

Step 5, basically says check if your network is reachable and my

'Network Reachable' reports as 'Yes'

Step 6 says 'Navigate and Play!'

When I'm in XBMC,
I can see the Arenas and Games,

When I try to choose a game that I want to play from XBMC and then choose 'Play' that perticualr games loads fine but what are you supposed to do after that.  

I guess my question would be for those who choose 'Play' from XBMC, what is supposed to happen after that, can you please explain step by step,

it will help out alot of people

Read step 5 more closely.. You haven't checked if console is detected. Like I said, use the PC and make sure it works before even thinking about using XBMC. Or ignore me and waste a couple hours of your time..

Ive had no trouble playing without xbmc.But i tried playing through xbmc and everything works up until i try to play the game it says insert disk i even pointed directory to f:/games still no luck all connections are good  and xbox is recoginized in diagonistics

Even if it says insert disk doesn't mean you have to literally insert the disk. Just laod the game. It's only a message. Btw, it should be f:\games not f:/games.
