this bastard who goes by IRON B has painfully obvious modded settings.
he has modded the ini files that control car characteristics so that his cars are invincible to damage or at least being hit by other vehicles.
when i was playing on kai, i first just thought he was really good, but then i got to first place (where he was) and beat the hell out of him wiht my car, only to see that everytime his car did not react, moving continuously as if on railroad tracks.
it happened in such a way that there is no question that he was cheating.
i had three friends in the room who witnessed it also.
also, his name is IRON B for gods sake. if that doesnt add to the obviousness, i dont know what does.

if you are in first place, and not using the same cars that everybody else has access to, you are a dirty, dirty cheater.

i dont even know how the game can be considered fun if you are cheating:
"fuck yeah man! I PWNED YOU GUYS! oh wait, my shits modded."
obviously, that is not cool or fair.

Driving modded cars in your own created room is not cheating, but if he joined a game with a modded car going for first it is cheating.

Modding cars in pgr2 is becomeing very popular, I often drive modded with my friends in our own room, and people are dieing to join.

i understand what you mean, but if that is becoming a popular thing, dont you think everybody should have the same mods? one mod could be FAR superior, and others would be losing when no skill is actually involved.

and he was doing it secretly, in a joined game, and trying to pass it for real skill.

i just think that if you win a race with a modded car WHILE everybody else is losing with orig. cars, then you should not be declared the winner, because real driving skill was not involved in anyway.

No, everyone should not drive the same mods when people are competing with modded cars in a private arena. There would be no challange who is the best tuner, and who has the wildest ride.

Yes, in another room, or game arena everyone should and must race same cars, not modded at all. Racing a modded car here, not telling the rest, and taking glorry for winning is both cheating and idiotic. If this was a bet on the ladder its also against the ladder rules.

Yet a unwritten rule is to make a private room, and not host games in the game arena. This has two major benefitts. First is that the moderator of the room can administrate it, and kick players wich are either cheating, ramming others, or beeing very rude and impolite. Second is that a game doesn't lag in a private room when it often does in the game arena. This is because all data from all the people in the game arena will be sendt to and recived by everyone there. While in the private room only the data from the people there will be exhanged.

i hosted a game, and that iron b(astard) joined, and started the race, acting as if unmodded.
yet again, he is rolling with the modded inis.
what recourse do i have?

im running kai through avalaunch, so when i play people all i see is their names on the Xbox screen in the lobby...
how do i kick people from the xbox?
or do you have to do that from the PC?

You can only make a room and kick users from pc ui.
