hey every1...

i solved all my problems about logging in and detecting games on Bo-Xlink... but now, i want to actually play!!! i go to the rooms, and wenever i chat, i get no reply and wen i try to join the game, i find nothing in the system link... it just keeps looking...  i tried with Halo and R6-3..

this happens from the PC and from Bo-Xlink... i cnt chat....

i c the games on Xlink but cnt seem to see them in the actual game while searching for system link games...

i updated everything (including the WinPCap to the 3.0.1 alpha but still no luck )

Hey I pretty much have the same problem...I'll go log in in x-link and load halo from the hdd but it just says looking for games...everyone tells me ur supposed to see the game but i dont....by the way, does xlink support ethernet-wireless bridges? because thas what I have and it works great on LIVE.  <

The issue with Halo is that you can't join a game in progress. So, if the players who made a room didn't select "squash room" or whatever on the start of the game then you see a room and no games since they are already playing.  So either wait for them to finish or find a room where they haven't started yet (or use messenger/WGN modes).

Other than Halo -most games you go into a room and wait to see local XBoxes.  Then launch the game.

It's not absolutely fool-proof and perfect but you'll get the hang of it pretty fast.  <

That's what i thought was happining to me but I was even talking to a bunch of people...who kept saying im supposed to see the game on the right of the screen...I had this same problem with XBC too!

By the way I do se my xbox's mac under local but for some reason I can't see everybody's mac under remote...could this be it?? Like if theres 12 ppl in the room i may only see about 5-7 mac address's

Talk to me about your network setup?  Routers, wireless, that sort of thing..  <

If he had xbc installed, right off the bat I am going to say locate and install a copy of winpcap 3.01 alpha.

remove any old winpcap install, reboot, install new one, reboot...then try.

yea just did that but same thingg.....i think i may know the problem.....

ive got a wireless D-Link router (624), wireless-ethernet bridge (G810), and my laptop has wireless 54g built in....

the laptop being wireless is probably stopping me right??

im trying it on my desktop later tonight...

by the way....i tried Kai and stil same problem....  <

yes, as far as i know, the machine running xlink must be wired...  <

yup....just like i said in the kai post i made it was probably cuz the pc i was using was wireless...worked fine with my desktop  <

i just read everything u guys wrote and nothing works yet for me...

i have everything updated, but wen i try to join ANY game in ANY mode i dont c anything...

i can c the MAC address of my xbox but wen im in a room, i DONT see any of the other MAC addresses of the other xbox's in that room...

and also wen i chat, i dont think anyone can c wat i write cuz no one happens to reply...  <

i just downloaded Kai 0006 and im trying to get to PM somebody or join a game, but no luck either...

i managed to logon, but anyone that i add to my buddy list is offline...

so therefore i cnt c if i can PM him or not...

i tried to go to the R6-3 arena to join a game, i see all the ppl's pings but wen i chat, no one replies and wen i look for a game on my box, it says no matches found...

any idea??

got it all sorted out but my connections lags like hell!!!
my ping sometimes goes up to 400 but is usually around 100-200...

thats still laggy!!!

other than that, i seem to b able to connect and alll

yeah id love to know aswell, i went into the TCR6 3 arena and can c 2 users with pings but they dont reply and i cant c any of them on sys link..  How did u fix this!!!!!  <
