What pushed me towards Xlink was Bo-Xlink's ability to work directly from the Xbox.  I play games in my living room on the big screen and although I could just plug my laptop into the switch I have there I like a seemless solution.  Xlink runs on my server upstairs and I can do what I need with Bo-Xlink.  Pretty solid solution for me since I don't run a home theater PC that I could easily toggle between.

Now as far as Halo goes, I don't think anyone in their right mind would say that XBC isn't the best place for it.  That being said, I don't really play it much and prefer other games (I also have no one else in my house that plays games so I am a single which complicates things).

Which tunnel service is best depends on what your individual preferences and situtation is.  For me, Xlink (although not perfect) fits the bill.

I started this poll before I played either xlink or xbconnect and now after trying both of the i have to say Xlink is definately mainly because it has Bo-link on it. My comp and xbox are in diff rooms and I hate to running back and forth to check is the game started or what ppl are up to. So i have to say Bo-xlink kicks ass. xbc is just as good and program and u'll probably find more ppl playing on there...but it would be better if it was supported through the xbox.

wont happen, xbc doesnt support modding xboxes. TD made a little app to do this as a "workaround" but probably wont do to much with it now that kai is out and gaining popularity.

Yea, XBC is the place to go for Halo...Other games, I'd say XLink and ease of use I'd say XLink.  But your can't beat all those people on Halo for XBC!

Must admit.. in XBC i saw a lot of lag in Top Spin ... havent seen any in xlink yet!

Is that right? Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is having problems with Top Spin and XBConnect. The lag wasn't so bad, we only got the occasional stall. However, the game disconnected at random, and I found out XBConnect completely hangs at the time that it happens. Not sure why...

Anyway, I'm looking foward to seeing how XLink works out once we get it working. That Bo-XLink certainly sounds like a nice feature.
