Bo-xlink And Xbc-link Problems
« on: December 22, 2003, 03:33:00 AM »

When I start either Bo-XLink or XBC-Link, I see the loading screen (Awaiting connection for Bo-XLink and the powered by Bo-XLink technology for XBC-Link) and the xbox stops responding. I run over to my PC. There I see the Windows Messenger has been logged in and MSN messenger has been logged out. Windows Messenger isn't even running (not even in background).

I'm not behind a router nor firewall. What's wrong?

You need, XLink Messenger running to use Bo-xlink
and XBConnect running to use XBC-Link

Yeah, I know. It seems the program on the Xbox connectes to Windows Messenger instead of the right program on the PC... Is that an possibility?

Nah.. wouldnt have thought so.. they dont use any ports in common of anything.. and nothing from the MSN/Windows Messenger API is used by any of the xlink bits..
