i read about this option " UPNP " everywere but no one expleins me well what it does to my xbox or xlink. anyone knows?

Let's XLink auto-configure port forwards for UPnP enabled routers and also ICS connections.

If you ever get the port-forward errors, you can press 'Automatically Forward Ports for Me' and UPnP will take care of it for you...

but ive never have problems with my ports numbers theyre ok, then i dont need this option to be enable, i leave it as it is right now?

Yeah that's fine.

Personally, I switch between wireless and wired on my laptop, and get assigned different IP from DHCP server on the Linksys router each time I switch. So because the port forwards are directing to the wrong IP, I get the port-forward error.

I can then just use the button to automatically correct the settings (even though it wouldn't take me that much time to do it manually).
