That smells like a firewall problem - if 8602 is getting thru and the others arent..

Also, i ran WUPS, a UDP port scanner from my friends machine on another internet connection and it states the ports are open. Now i'm really baffled.

well, i set my default server to my pc and it works, which simply baffles me even more. btw. xtest was enabled when i scanned the UDP ports from my friends house and it didnt react. When i ran it locally, it did. saying something was still up. Prolly routing to the wrong box or something, although it was set correctly in the NAT list.

Now i'm in..... FINALLY, although this messes up the settings i had for my unix box.

--- edit ----

i spoke too soon. Closed the application down, restarted it..... connection gone again, same output in xtest.... *sigh*
