Couple of questions (if anyone knows):

1. Would it interfere with an already existing account on the xbox?
(i'd probably use an expired 2-month card for my friend on my xbox...i have a 12-month already)

2. Could it be used to renew an already existing account?
(to possibly renew my 12-month account after it runs out)

Wow your dumb, you use 2 months to make new accounts, there is no possible way to extend an account with a 2 month.

2 months actually won't work at all for me and my friend.

First we tried making the 2 mont with a date like 3-13-03 and it would give us an error message....but when we changed the date back it could connect.

Then we tried crazy dates like 1-31-99 and it would automaticly set the date back to the correct one.

Alright, I know a lot of people want some 2 month trials, but if you have any just laying around If you could please email them to me [email protected] that would be really great. I need these because my cousin and I like to make new accounts and just mess around with people. So please help me out here.

This is a quote from another scene member that I saved regarding the trial cards. Seems to have worked for me so far. I just used two expired codes the other day that where orange and green.

"This is the easiest way to know if they'll work or not, no need to look at the date. If they're ONLY orange and black, they won't work. If they're orange and green, or green and black, they'll work."

does this really work because i have two of those and do they mean change the date on your xbox to two months before when the card expired?

No you don't have to change the date on your xbox.

One sure way to see if it works is just put the code into your xbox as if to sign up for a new account. You don't have to activate it if you don't want to but you can still see if the code is good.

That way if you want to sell it on ebay or something you would know for sure that the code is a good one.

sorry to jump in, but does that mean the trials that came with halo 2(since they do have a green bar on it) work with xbox live even when expired?
you think these will work too:

FRONT:

BACK:(IMG:http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/8835/scan00018jh.th.jpg)

as you can see the backside has a green bar, ya think it'll work?

will try it next week or such, wish me luck, gonna subscribe anyway, got me a 3 month kit + headset + fifa 05 for only 20 €(and the headsets normally cost 30€ seperately, I practically gained more than I spent)

it would just be great to be able to subscribe for 5 months instead of 3

I dont know if this thread is still active, but i have a card that came with halo 2 and everytime I try to use it, it says INVALID CODE. I set the clock back two months before it expired and even tried older dates but it seems that trying to create a new account resets my clock. Any help?
