I recently got banned from xbl and got a new eeprom

loading the new eeprom went fine with config magic

but I still can't connect

I don't get a modifcation error I just get a connection error

do I have to put my serial number back into the eeprom on config magic or should it read it itself.

any help would be grand.

thats doesn't answer my question

my unbanned eeprom that I just got doesn't even work

The serial number is in the EEPROM. If there is on, on the connection screen for XBL, the serial will appear.

Of course, the question of "Is it really an unbanned EEPROM?" comes into play

even when I did the loading with config magic it didn't ever see if my xbox serial number was there, its was just a bunch of zeros
