Xbox Live On A Modded Xbox

So like im just guessin tell me if im wrong thou if i had a modded hd and a un modded one i can use the modded one on xbox connect and use the un modded one to play on xbox live rite?  :P

Depends.. You can use a large HD with unsigned code on it and still go on  live. As long as none of the MS dash files are modified and you observe the marriage theory you will be fine. I go onto live with a 200gb disk crammed with mediacenter, dvdx2 and all sorts of stuff no problem. But this is also the disk I signed up to live with first time, so I am in the safe with the marriage theory.
