I was about to start a game and everyone lagged out. i reseted my xbox and i couldnt get back on. but when i go to trouble shoot it says i cna connect. anyone have this problem.

I was on moments ago too. Logged off Halo 2 and watched the Halo 2 making DVD. Tried to log back in to Halo 2 to check who was on and it says it can not connect. Tried connecting via Dashboard and it doesn't connect. Ran the troubleshooter and that connects all the way, no problems at all in the troubleshooter.

Any idea what's going on?

Happened to me and the other 7 people that was in my Halo 2 party.  My chip was off and noone else has a mod.

It just happened about 3mins ago.  My dad also said internet was running slow and such.

I always run with my chip off too! Whenever my chip is on, I physically disconnect all access to the internet from my xbox so no chance of anything leaking through.

EDIT:
Just tried to log into Xbox.com/Live with my account and it says there was an error retrieving my friends list. Have you guys tried this?

i think it did crash. the game before i lagged out was lagging pretty bad. then everyone appeared offline on my friends list and clan.

i just tried to log on and it says i cannot connect, chip is off.  Also my friends list cannot be retrieved either.  I hope it is a live problem. I can connect through the dash though.

just read on bungie.net that other peeps are having same prob, now to clean the poop outa my pants.

Check out this thread over at Xbox.com, seems a lot of people are not able to connect....*whew* thought I was banned for a sec there....

Same problem here, I could get on earlier in the day but I can't now.  Ran the troubleshooter and everything connected, I sure am glad everyone else is having this problem.

wow, man i thought it was just me.  I'm in the middle of a killtacular rush on the suckas and after the game, I tried to play my friend and it wouldn't join.  So i logs out and back in and the same thing.  Bungie.net hasn't updated my stats since the day before thanksgiving and when i go to xbox.com, it said friends list error.  I was like, I've heard of banning xboxes, but all accounts associated?  Man I was scared.  Thats it, I'm getting a new xbox tommorow so I don't have to sweat bullets anymore.lol

It is funny to see all the people on the offical xbox live thread though. They are all getting all pissed off that it is down, and the people over here are just glad they haven't been banned

Same here...

I can't connect to Dead or Alive Ultimate.

The game ask for my passcode, then once I input it...imediatly I can't connect. When I go to the trouble shooter after it test all the settings, it tells me i _AM_ connected to xbox live properly.

When I go back in the game, the game still can't seem to connect.
