I think there is about 1892160000 seconds in "an age" (being a year).  Anyways, I have no mod chip, but I have an audio exploit that boots up the M8 bios.  I dont have Halo 2 either.  But I do have Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow, and ive done some timings.  It takes me about 8 or 9 seconds to log into Xbox Live when im not downloading anything.  Then I went to the first Rainbow Six 3, and it took me about 2 seconds to log in.  I did this in the same time period, not over a couple days.  I also wasnt downloading or anything.  So now tell me, what is the difference between these two games?  RBS3:BA has Xbox Live 3.0 and RBS3 has Xbox Live 2.0 or 1.0.  Ok, so what was the point of that?  Now think, what about Halo 2.  People have been complaining about how long it takes to log in.  Think about what version of Xbox Live is on the disc....Xbox Live 3.0.  So thinking about all that, games with Xbox Live 3.0 could be a MS backdoor for the Xbox to scan for LPC points, unsign code (I doubt this one), bigger harddrives, etc.  If you dont beleive me on the times, try it yourself!  Get your lazy ass up and find a game with Xbox Live 1.0 or 2.0 and time yourself on logging in.  Then get a game such as Halo 2 that has Xbox Live 3.0 and time yourself.  You should see a difference in there somewhere!

i think its safe to say that they DEFINATLY do more checks on a flagged GT, thats FACT !

but if ya real feel like helping the scene, and are brave !, and have a few eeproms/GT to hand then what ya could fo is this ..

use ya BANGT on a sytem thats stock like ya been doing make sure all is well ..
then chip this box, thats all, just a chip (with a ext. switch to switch chip on/off) leave the software as is ..
and use it see if it gets banned (over 24hours).... this will prove/disprove the LPC check

ok, then make the chip use the eject trick to switch on/off this is the second LPC/Chip check theory

then next test. unlock and relock ya HDD (this will test the master password of TEAMASSEMBLY theory)

now this is when it gets dicey ...
the software tests !! .. slowly put stuff on F, then E, then C (do not touch the dash, use a disk for FTP purposes)
and leave over 24 houtrsinbetween each test

and somewere along that line of tests, will tell use what they check on a flagged GT !

THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE BY SOME1 !! to prove/disprove all teh theorys !
Mick ..

you shuold start a new post on this and get everyones idea on what thay could be checking that way we can have a check sheet to go down

tell people to keep it short and simple so we dont miss anything

good idea ???? smile.gif

I had been troubleshooting a modded xbox with my gamertag, because it wouldn't connect to XBL. Turns out the box ended up being banned for being modified.
Now, I just tried to log into XBL from my modded box, which had mo major changes since I had started using Live on it, and never violated any of the "rules" beforehand... Box is banned

I think that the tags are DEFINTELY being marked for being used on a modded box, and thus doing more extensive scans.
There's no explaining my banning otherwise

I think there is about 1892160000 seconds in "an age" (being a year).

it is given that 60 seconds = 1 min;
and 60 min = 1 hr;
and 24 hr = 1 day;
and 365 day = 1 year;
so if 1 year = 1 age, then: 60 * 60 * 24 * 365 = 31536000 seconds in one year/age.

beerchug.gif ) played on LIVE with my modchip and was banned. Got a new eeprom within a few days and was back on LIVE with no problem.

Got Halo 2 and have yet to have any problems playing on LIVE. As for the signing in timing, well in my crappy apartment complex it takes a good 10-20 seconds if not a little longer, but I brought my xbox up to my work, which is at a University, and connected to the network and my signing in time was very quick, 5 seconds or less. Also in my previous apartment I had comcast cable and signing in to RTCW was also quick.

I think this is true before I got banned I would log on fast after my password I would go to the next screen super fast but after halo I got banned and got a new xbox that same hour and played halo and it would take long to log onto halo I just thought it was that game,

But now when I tried to play burnout 3 last nite, I have not played it since I got my new xbox because all my unlock cars are on my damn banned xbox, I did see it taking longer and it also takes way longer on espn2k5.

Even tho I got my xbox banned and had to spend more cash for a new xbox, I would do it all over again as the modded xbox is the best system I have owned, with all it's trick out led mods and so on.

it may have to do with live3.0 to an extent but none of my clan guys on halo 2 have a modified box and all say it only takes them 3-6 sec to log in while it still takes me 10-15

Now since I think about it, I was banned before.  I bought a new Xbox, did account recovery.  And then I went on firsst Rainbow, everything was fine, I logged in with my 1-3 second log in.  Then Black Arrow came out and it has XBL 3.0, and it took longer to log in.  So maybe XBL 3.0 is scanning for mods and also searches a database for banned gamertags.  But if they were seacrhing for banned gamertags I would be ban again like everyone else.  So instead of playing with your EEPROM and shit, you should just buy a new Xbox.  Then you would have a modded Xbox and a non-modded Xbox.
