I need help! i bought my xbox from the a different country and now im trying to get on xbox live but it says that my xbox is modified. When i haven't even modified it. ive heard that i need to change the country code, but don't know how. and xbox live help says that they need to change the system out but that will cost me. so any help would be great.

the modified error means that is not the right country code i guess. the only to change the country code is to mod it really

I live in Europe and bought my xbox in Asia. LIVE is working just fine for me, but of course all games need to be asia game region (NTSC-J) to work on my xbox.

So you should not have any problems if you buy games with same game region as your xbox...
