Xbox Live Banning For Large Hd's?
« on: October 14, 2004, 08:59:00 PM »

XBox Live has banned me due to "modified hardware".  I was playing FIFA online just fine last night and now it's not working.  I'm using the Xecuter 2 bios w/the built in "Live Protection" and i have a switch on my chip.  I have been able to get on live just fine until tonight.

After going through the troubleshooter it says "Xbox Console not able to connect w/the live service due to possible modified hardware/software"

Are they banning for large HD's now?  I know they were banning but i didn't think it would come to this...

My friend has also been banned w/the same setup.  Anyone else been banned because of this????

Have you ever been banned and flashed your eeprom to get back online. A couple people have been banned today, for what appears to be no paticular reason. Check out this topic and see if their is anything similar to your situation.
