What does it say?

You are probably in the linux boot option 1 on startup, you need to be in the command line with lock/unlock tools option 3 on startup.

HDlock is a program, on the command line (option1 on boot) type 'hdlock', the program will load and display connected devices on IDE, select the hard drive to lock. btw typing 'lockhd' as you did won't do a thing, the application is called 'hdlock'.

When the pc first starts i select option 3 which is locking and unlocking utilities.Then from there it ask me if i want to lock or unlock.
I choose lock.Then it has three other options.1)automatically get password2)dont remember3)get password from file.When i select one of them it says "dont know how to get password".I tried typing no but it says invalid command so i type yes.Then after i type yes it shows a bunch of y's going down the left side of the screen.

I think i got it i just have to test it out in the xbox.It wouldnt let me use xbrowser after i tried locking it so it should work.
