Losing My Connection While Playing Xbc
« on: December 15, 2004, 01:47:00 AM »

Hey,

For a while now im playing online with XBconnect. Great program but sometimes while im playing im losing my connection.
XBox says connection lost and the connection symbol on my pc has a red cross. Right click on the symbol and click on turn of connection and then turn on and my connection is back.
BUT im getting tired walking up and down to reestablish the connection.

I changed my xbox IP adress but that didnt work.

I use setup C that is with 2 nic cards and a crosslink cable to my xbox.

ALL help is welcome.

Connection : broadband to ICS ( my CPU), to an extra network card, to switch, to xbox - I did not get any connection of xbox to the internet.

The unsecure connection variant: broadband to switch, connected to both xbox and CPU with disconnected firewall, works for abour 30 min and then I lose the connection. My broadbands provider disconnects me, because according to them, too many MAC-addresses come from my network.

I spoke with the author of XBConnect.  He suggest that you update your network drivers.
