Objective:
Figure out the result of using two identical EEPROMs on Xbox Live at the
same time.
Experiment Conditions:
* Both of our connection settings were set to automatic
* Both parties tried to connect with modchip off with banned EEPROM and
logged XYZ codes
* First party logs XYZ codes before connecting with game
* First party connect to Xbox Live with know unbanned EEPROM.
* Second party logs XYZ codes before connecting with game while other user
is still logged on playing
* Second party then connects while first party is still logged in.
* Log results
* Both parties try to connect again to see if EEPROM is now banned.
Alkane - With modchip off and known banned EEPROM:
X: 0001 - 8005
Y: 00C2 - 0380
Z: 0000 - 0000
Kickace - With modchip off and known banned EEPROM:
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00C2 - 03C0
Z: 0000 - 0000
Kickace - With modchip off and known unbanned EEPROM: (before connecting
with game)
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00AA - 4940
Z: AFFF - 0018
Alkane - With modchip off and known unbanned EEPROM: (before connecting
with game - while other user is still logged in)
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00EA - 4940
Z: 0000 - 0000
Kickace - With modchip off and known unbanned EEPROM: (while Alkane is
logged in with game of MechAssult - Kickace is getting XYZ codes from
dashboard)
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00AA - 4940
Z: AFFF - 0018
NO CHANGE HAPPENED WITH XYZ CODES YET
>>>Results of having both EEPROMs online at the same time go here. <<<
Both parties could connect to Xbox Live at the same time, host games, and
join games. The only problem was that the two users with the same EEPROMs could not join the same games.
The errors we got when we tried to join the same game were:
Moto GP - "The game session is no longer available"
MechAssult - "No reponse from host"
We were able to join separate games fine & we each played at the same time with no problems.
Alkane - With modchip off and known unbanned EEPROM: (after experiemnt at
test connection screen - Kickace is still playing)
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00AA - 4960
Z: 8015 - 1918
Kickace - With modchip off and known unbanned EEPROM: (after experiemnt at test connection screen - only Kickace is connected to Xbox Live server)
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00AA - 4940
Z: AFFF - 0018
Alkane - With modchip off and known unbanned EEPROM: (after experiemnt at
test connection screen - only Alkane is connected to Xbox Live server)
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00AA - 4960
Z: 8015 - 1918
The next day we both were not banned & were able to log on at the same time with no problems. Our XYZ codes have not changed since the last time we connected.
Conclusion:
Multiple people CAN use the same EEPROM but they will be unable to join the
same game. I wouldn't recommend trying this cause this can change, but for now you can use the same eeproms.
