Host Has Lag?
« on: May 10, 2006, 06:56:00 AM »

I will describe in detail:

A LAN party at my house. We had an Xbox 360 and two Xboxes. They were hooked up to a hub using one small ethernet cable each. One of the Xboxes (NOT the 360) was hosting. We were playing Team King of the Hill on Foundation, each Xbox on it's own team (1 team per Xbox for a total of 3 teams). The third round just started. Everybody rushed into the middle (that's where the Hill was). After a while, the Hill moved, BUT on the hosting Xbox, the Hill hadn't moved! After a while, the Hill moved again, and this time everybody could see it.

I think what happened was some of the electrons from the other xbox's went over to the host's xbox creating a static hill on that box only.

Stop mixing the cocaine with baking soda and cooking it before you smoke it.

Glitch?  Overheating?  Could be a bunch of things.  As long as it isn't something that is really habitual, I wouldn't worry about it at all.
