Holy crap. Coop Halo 2 is probably the most fun I've had with my xbox in quite a while, and after last night's giggle fest It will we be tough to top it for some time.
Anyway, after landing on earth early in the game, you can do some hopping to grab what appears to be a human skull. Which of course is a lethal bashing weapon. It also, makes you invisible, from which all of our trouble stems. As coop, we were just a bullet spraying death duo having hte time of our lives until my partner grabbed this thing. We then discovered a couple bugs. Namely, that it removed the HUD when picked up, BOTH huds. I'm now on the bottom screen having no idea which weapon I'm holding, if I'm duel wielding, or what my shield/ammo/health is at. And to top it all off, the creatures can see me.
No biggie right? Just a little bug, well apparently this bug doesn't like to go away after the next level. We proceeded to accidentally through grenades, run out of ammo, jump in the wrong seat of the warthog for the next couple areas even after we lost the skull. While it sounds stupid, I hadn't laughed like that in a long time. It got to the point where our conversations went from "Lookout, Sniper!" to "Oops", "Sorry", and "BWAAAHAHAAA!" as we launched fellow marines and each other into the stratosphere.
If anyone gets bored with legendary, not having a HUD adds an extra layer or two of difficulty.
