name your favourite custom game varients and what level u like to play them on....

herez my 2 favourites

Pistol Fun/Pistol Death
starting weapons pistols (plasma and magnum)
pistols only on map
no shields
no gernades
best level: lockout

Xtremes (the name is kinda gay)
starting weapons rockets and swords
heavy weapons on map
over shield
gernades
best level: beaver creek

Stay Alive-

Each person gets three lives...usually two teams
No shields (a few shots with the pistol or battle rifle kills)
Last person alive scores a win for their team
Pistols/Battle Rifles/Convenant rifle

Any level works really, its a lot of fun on midship and ascension

Zombies can also be a lot of fun too...

Score limit - whatever you want, i prefer 100
respawn time - 3 seconds

Team Shotguns

Really basic but really fun

Basic Team Slayer config, but only shotguns on map, no secondarys, no grenades, no vehicles, no turrents, no nothing

Best map: Lockout

Can also be played without teams. Very chaotic (and fun) with 16 people on Lockout

Phantom snipers

Only snipers, no grenades or anything like that. No teams.
Active camo on.

Best map: Coagulation

Team Rockets

Same as Team Shotguns but with rocket launchers instead of the shotguns.

Best map(s): Coagulation or Lockout for more chaos

Everyone hates this game but I love it.

Good Swords

No Weapons on Map
Starting Weapon Sword
No Secondary Weapon
No Grenades
Overshield

That game really makes the sword n00bs pissed because you can't camp and win.

The other game I like is called Slayer CS (for Counter-Strike). I don't know the exact settings because my friend is the one who created it, but basically you have no shields and human weapons. One head shot and your dead. Oh yeah, you start with the Battle Rifle. Just completely insane.

Brute Mag Hogs

Start with Brute Shot and Magnum. Only Brute Shots on the map. Two Gauss hogs. Random turrents. Play it on Foundation.

Swords and Snipers
Primary weapon - sword
Secondar weapon - sniper
Favorite Levels: Lockout, then Midship, then Beaver Creek, then Ivory Tower
No Overshield
Starting grenades on and grenades on map
Guns on map - Map default
Kills to win: 25

Some people may not like swords but the sniper is really a nice addition. I have increased my sniping abilities tons since playing this game type. And if you are not good at swords you will get better at those. Or snipe people when they are coming at you with a sword. That really pises them off. Grenades are also a nice addition if you find yourself in a sticky situation.

It is sooo funny to hear some of the noob kids that come in when I'm hosting on Kai. "oh man when u get killed with a sword its called assasinated" and "oh man he sniped me right before i was gonna assasinate him". And then the best part is when they get just one kill on you they are like "oh yeah thats right " and they just talk trash. But I end up beating one guy 25 to 19 I believe and then the other 2 noob kids, one had 6 and the other ZERO. I could not friggin believe it. He got no kills. He sucked bad. Try it you will like it.

Fun game since your goal is to survive to the very end without losing all of your lives.

Plasma Pistol - No shooting, only melee attacks
1 round (or you can go for four to make it more like football)
1 score (or put a time limit)
1 neutral bomb - 5 seconds
Really fun since you have to protect the person with the bomb.
Best played on congulation.

One of my favorite custom variants me and my lan buddies play is called "Camp Whores". Starting weapon is sniper, secondary is alien sniper. No shields, and you need 50 kills to win, any amount of people. BUT, there is a catch, the only level we can play this on is Ascension, without the banshee. Sumtimes we play Zanzibar, but mostly Ascension.

Another one is by my bro, he made up "O Malley Madness". O Malley is a character off of Red vs. Blue. 250 kills is needed to win, team slayer rules, in Lockout only. Startout weapon is pistol, and secondary is bubble gun (plasma pistol). Random weapons needs to be on, for scattered weapons on the map. This variant is quite fun, since it is a tight level.
