You dont need the xenon.elf file actually. just have the updflash.bin on the root of the usb stick

Is your USB stick formatted to FAT32? Also try having the USB stick in before you turn on the console with eject. Try another USB port and if that dont work, hook up your programmer and write the image.

It should. If not

go to dos prompt where you nandpro is located, copy over your updflash.bin to the nandpro folder and type

nandpro USB: -w16 updflash.bin

ive used -w16 when I have manually written before. To be honest I dont know what doing +w16 would make a difference or not.

there are a few ways to do it, but the easiest would be to find the F3Installer.iso burn that to disc and run it.

Thanks alot for all the help i got to figure this out! FD3 boot up as default now and run like a charm

I just have one more question.. how do i ftp games to the 360? Witch dir? only the iso file or the .dvd file aswell?

First I convert the iso to GOD format (using ISO2GOD). Then you can ftp the title ID folder over to the Content/000000000000000 folder using any ftp client (filezilla, etc...)

I find it easier to just make a folder on USB hard drive called games, use ISO2GOD and convert your ISO at the same time you make your USB your destination the games folder and queue up your iso and thats it.

Thats just worked out fine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I have a issue when i connected my kinect, it say i need a update. i googled around and find that im using an usb and put my dash on that and rename $systemupdate to $$systemupdate. done that and when i boot up it just say that my console is up to date. but the kinect still saying it needs to be updated.. use 16202 dash now btw

its not $$systemupdate its $$ystemupdate drop the S in system and replace it with a $

You have to have the USB formatted to FAT32 also. $$ystemupdate only works if you installed dashlaunch
