Modchip And Halo 2.

I've been considering on getting a modchip for the XBOX but I have been hearing that XBOX Live on Halo 2 has some new anti-mod measures that will ban people even if the modchip is off. Can someone elaborate on this?  <

just get the Xenium ICE modchip and you're all set......you can still play on xbox live with that one also  <

the problem is not the chip , you can have a Xenium or an X3 and still get banned or not banned. the prob is the HD.  <

Buddy! It's not worth it!

I have a mod chip - but that isn't the problem. I had to take my HD out, reducing my ability to store movies/games on teh disc, rendering my modded xbox useless.

Not worth it if you wanna live.  <

Of you can just install two hdd's so that when your chip is enabled, the big hdd boots.  When chip is disabled, stock hdd boots.  <

Uuuuh,  I guess M$ thinks my 250 gig maxtor is stock then. Oh and my buddy, he's been on live for well over a year and hasn't gotten himself banned and he's upgraded twice. But I guess it's his ultra high tech chip Aladin Advance that's throwing off M$. The thing is ultra top secret n shit!! I had a hell of a time putting it in for him. It has like 13 wires!!  <

yeah, i have an xecuter 2.3b lite + and a 120 hd, mine's worked fine for a month or so on live with the chip off  <

I have had live since 1st wave beta tester nearly 8 months before final release of xbox live. And still haven't been banned.  <
