Or just glitch in the walls in headlong and snipe where you can't die. I do it all the time in Classic CTF when others have flags I just get in wall and when it returns I just walk threw and run to score.

Snipers take a lot of skill.  And a tip for snipers is AIM FOR THE HEAD.  I never shoot the body, it is always a one shot kill.  Snipers are even rarer in Halo 2 so watch out for the bullets you expend, and try to get a Head Shot every time.  It really isnt hard.  And the sniper ammo spawns very fast so you can usually get that to help you on your sniping, and if you are shooting next to it you can basically shoot infinitely.

I like to have a ghost if i am sniping on coagulation and camping the rocket ammo and the rockets.  If you have a sniper and a rocket you can easily go 5v1 and come out with a 40 pt spread.  You are that powerful, there is nothing they can do.  And in assault games on coagulation you give your team so much support that it is very likely you will score.

When you zoom you are a noob. Learn to shoot without zooming you kill anyone who comes to you with a battlerifle. Anyday I would take a sniper on foundation or lockout and walk around levels because I can snipe without zooming no problem. I usually shoot once and punch.

I think its good to have a good sniper on your team.  But I hate it when I playing CTF in big team battle on offense and you 3 snipers on your team running around trying to snipe.  It's a garunteed loss when almost half your team is trying to get as many medals as possible instead of trying to win.
