Halo 2 Audio Defect
« on: November 27, 2004, 03:12:00 AM »

*possible spoiler* At the beginning, where theres that big meeting between you, that black dude, the old dude with the marine like hat, keyes and cortana. When the scene from the Covenent switches back to the Human scene, theres a slight skip in the audio.

I returned it for a new copy and notice the same thing? Is it just in the game or is it my xbox? Any help is appreciated  <

I can resize it but there is no reason why I should take it down altogether. Freedom of speech. And its not like I have porn in my sig. I am a very political person and I am a very strong advocate for Medical Marijuana and Marijuana legalization for responsible adults.

(edit: Whats the size limit for the signatures?)

OK resized.

No one notices this? Its not really a big deal since I'm past that part. I'm actually taking my sweet time in finishing the game, since I don't have a broadband connection to go on XBOX live. Oh well     <

Some reason u get some cracking noises out of ur speakers as if its gettng some audio feedback or something    but only happens when someone is yelling which i guess isnt to often :P. well extremely often anyways.

Well just to let you know, you don't have the freedom of speech you are thinking about on an owned forum.  You play by the owner's rules.  Not saying you are breaking any rules, other than that your banner is too big, which I myself have told you and others as well.     <

I don't notice the audio skip... but then again I haven't looked for it.  As for his sig, I personally like it and think that it is more than appropriate for anyone and everyone to see.  Check this out to find out why.  The hysteria(sp?) and lies surrounding marijuana need to be exposed.  I don't want to start a flame war or an off topic debate... but I'm not the one that brought up his sig, I'm just justifying it.  <

That was exactly my point Sentient. The **** that the "Office of National Drug Control Policy" (those stupid ads you see on TV that try to make Marijuana look like the most evil drug on this planet), the DEA "Drug Enforcement Agency" and the Bush Administration is nothing but lies. A recent anti-marijuana ad on TV which disgusts me the most is the one where the black kid bails on his little brothers birthday with the message that people who smoke pot don't care about their family, they just care about getting high. THAT IS BULL****. I love my family very much and they will always come first, and I'm not the only one who feels this way about that ad. I feel for that woman in that link you just showed. She is going through unbearable pain and she has found something that helps her live her life and John Ashcroft and the DEA want to make her pay for her finding a way to cope with her dilemma. You ask yourself, "Why? Why would they do such a thing to this poor woman. Its clearly obvious she is suffering.". The answer is money. Pharmaceutical companies won't sell their outrageously expensive drugs and will lose lots of money if patients are using Medical Marijuana. They are losing large amounts of money as we speak because 11 states allow patients to use Medical Marijuana. The other reason is Religious radicals. Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with being religious. I encourage it. But when you make outrageous claims that "god" condemns marijuana and other things (doesn't have to be drug-related), that is when you are pushing it too far. As a matter of fact, I have read some quotes from the Bible that say otherwise... ""Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth.…To you it will be for meat." … And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." (Genesis 1:29-31), Heres another quote from the bible, apprently predicting the herb's prohibition. "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times, some shall … speak lies in hypocrisy … commanding to abstain from meats which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." (Paul: 1 Timothy 4:1-3). I'm not a religious person, to be honest... I have no religion, but the only reason I showed you those quotes was to show that even in religion, it is accepted and tolerated. Marijuana is far less harmful than alcohol and tobacco. But I could go on for days, so I won't say anymore.

I'm not trying to start a flame war either, I'm just sharing what I believe.  <

As for the audio defect, I don't really care about it, its barely noticeable to me anyways and it does have to do with the textures loading. I know that HALO 2 is a game that has pushed XBOX to its limits which is the reason why the textures load like that.  <
