Click here to help me understand what the heck this page is trying to say. I can make out a few things in the first line.

The LE version of Halo 2 comes with a small booklet with some conversations and stuff. Its 6 pages and is titles conversations from the universe with diff convos. <

Perhaps I worry too much. You know that I embrace caution,
but we cannot have inexperience or arrogance at this
great juncture.

Be pure, be vigilant, and never rest.

Why did Regret come to Earth in the first place? He came with a small troop and invaded only one city. You think he was looking for the Ark? He also said he didnt know Humans would be there. Can anyone explain? <

possibly the great journy was to earth? think about it, in the last scene when the chief is on the forrunner ship doesnt it go to earth? and could it be possible that the forrunner were early humans who stored some artifact on earth? <

yea, in the books, sorry if were not suppose to intermix the game and books (kinda like starwars or whater) because there are some diffrences between the two, the covies envade antoher planet that humans are living on and retrive some other artifact. Cortana gets the slip-space coordinates to halo from one of the artifacts the covi's have to. Perhaps the artifact is Halo? they speak at the begining of the game about how one of the prophets was correct in guessing there were other Halos.... <

The books can now be merged witht he game. Bungie even recommends reading them to get more indepth on the story. Bungie borrowed from the books as well for the Halo 2 story. And the artifact was found on another Planet not on Reach. MC was able to "retrieve" it from the Covies, Cortana than deciphered the writing on the rock and discoevered that they were some sort of co-ordinates, when they were forced to retreat from Reach, Cortana jumped in slipstream and headed for these co-ordinates that ultimately bought them to Halo. The artifact talked about in the "Conversations from the Universe" cannot be small, it is huge as they say it is extending underground and they know that it is not from Covie origin but its too advanced to be Human so from that we're guessin that the place that they discoevered is the ARK since the forerunners hid the ARK after they used the Halos once to keep it from being activated once again. <
