in order of expense...
- replacement laser(requires a bit of know-how & tuning)
- swap the pcb inside the drive with a replacement samsung drive
- RGH diy(requires several tutorials, soldering to your mobo and time)
- xkey for playing games from usb(solderless and you can do this yourself in a few hours)
- RGH pro install(shipping both ways, hardware + modder's fee)

you may be able to spoof the drive to your benq, but not if you update or want to play new games

not going to waste too much time, but imho, spoofing is useless to a real gamer right now and everything has been answered on this forum already so read the first pinned thread in this newbie subforum and follow the appropriate links until you find what you need. it is a fucking choose your own adventure around here these days.

Screw online. I'm cool with not playing online.
If I can just play co op games with the friends i have around me...I'm fine with that.
