The game is great.  All 8 minutes of it.  The game is too fucking short.  I think many will agree with that.  
I realise that halo online would be a big draw for the game, but I didn't realize that it would trump the actual game.  What a fucking let down.

Online play is fun if you're 13 or 14 and play all night long.  I don't have that much time to hone any skills online.  I get sniped off in the middle of just trying to learn the maps.  There should be other modes other than just white-knuckle shooting fests.  What about some sort of team co-op with different checkpoints?  

Online play should be a bonus, not the main attraction in games with such deep stories such as this (not counting the various rpg's online).  

Man do I feel cheated.  <

Fact of the matter is, games nowadays require MP to have any lasting appeal. And if you want to learn the maps, its a little something called SPLIT SCREEN.  <

Real men play Legendary which I can guarentee you will take up a lot more time then you want it too.  Id like to see you come back once you finish it and tell me its too short.

Just curious but you do know that you dont even need to split screen, you can get into a game without the need for any other players.  This is probably due to the fact that people can join your game after it has started which is a bad ass feature IMHO.  The XBC and Kai users have to love that.  <

If you are trying to learn the maps launch syslink by yourself.  Don't whine about a kiddie sniping you.  This alone is enough to warrant a lame post.  And their are team games.   :rolleyes:

I played and beat the game.  Not on legendary however.  I am now trudging my way through that to see if it raises my spirits, and I must admit it is doing that.  

The whole 8 minutes is sarcasm.  I thought that was obvious both here and my post at bungie.  But some people lack a sarcasm gland or acts up when their favorite game is loved by everyone.  

Playing on legendary does seem to have me back into it, though.    <

I beat it on  legendary yesterday, I bought it the day it was released.  I was disappointed too.  it was fun but I thought it wasn't hard or long enough.  think I am going to sell it on eBay soon. mp is fun but not worth it for me to keep  <

Well what happens to EARTH? The first teaser released showed Earth under attack with nuclear explosions going on. This one ends there and i just watched the Bonus DVD and one or 2 devs referred to this is Halo 1.5?  :huh: ? I got a feeling Bungie's about to pull another Halo on us and I really hope so   . It was fun while it lasted but the ending pissed me off. The XBL is very good but waiting for games is frustrating and I only seem to like Slayer games so Im always in Rumble Pit. Maybe releasing Halo 3 to push the next XBox system? A cheap move on M$'s behalf but oh well Life isn't always fair.  <

Yeah, paying $60 for a game and than play it for 10hrs plus just to find out that u will have to wait another 5yrs to spend another $60 to finish the story.
