you cant just swap drives like that in the 360! blink.gif
the drive has an encrypted key that must match your consoles motherboard tongue.gif
this key has to be read from the old drive and inserted into the new one
using a drive of an other brand is no longer viable due to updates
the way to do it is to get a drive replacement identical to your old drive swap the boards in the drives put new drive fitted with old board in console and bingo fixed
another way is to dump the drives key(using extra software and hardware tools) to a pc then injecting that key to the new drive  smile.gif
