Would be much better to grab a 2nd Sammy drive then just use the Key from your Original one.Spoofing can cause issues with the Dash updates and end up with a half bricked console then.

The question is already answered. Buy a replacement Samsung and be done with it. Upgrade your dash before you mod it. I have an extra Samsung drive if you want to buy one. PM me if your interested.

no actually my question has not been answered, ive just been told to buy a dvd drive, which i dont want to do right now.

Can i or can i not get the samsung dvd keys, inject them into benq, then put benq in xbox and update?

Like Rammieone mentioned, its not a good idea to extract the Samsung keys, and spoof the Benq to be a Samsung, and update. You'll end up with a bricked drive that does not match what the console originally came with.

Spoofing is not recommended anymore because the firmware on the DVD drive gets updated along with the dash. Just replace the Samsung.

Spoofing is when you fool the console into thinking that the replacement drive is the original drive. You can't just inject the keys and off you go, that only works with a direct replacement drive.

i said i wanted to put one key into the other drive, anyway it works, no thanks to you

and yes i am using LT 3.0.
