I have a locked HD and when I run atapwd.exe it sees the drive but I can't unlock it. Is there a way to force the drive back to its original state even if it erases the HD. I can't do nothing to the HD since its locked. Is there another program or a way thru DOS to remove all protection and PW's from the drive so I can use it again.

Unless you have the proper password there is no software that will remove the password, you would need a hardware device but don't ask where you can get it unless you are willing to pay $30,000..
