Can I Simply Swap Dvd Drives?

nope if your online no you can't the reason is the firmware on the dvd drive is serialed to the hardware what this means is that the xbox 360 detects the dvd drive itself the model number and serial number if those numbers don't match you won't get past the xbox live online test at all and your console will get banned honestly if you want to get a console with a hdmi port go to a local gaming store in your area there only going for 99.99 right now
