Jasper 3 Pin Fan Header ?
« on: July 01, 2013, 02:55:00 PM »

The 360 3 pin fan header is +-+

You could pull the wires out of the connector on the new fan and slide them into new assignment.  It will take like a needle to release them from the plastic connector housing.

Or you could solder the wires of the new fan to the correct pins of the header.  Or remove the fan connector and solder right to the board.

And  ... there are areas around the motherboard to safely borrow power from.  You could disregard the stock fan header altogether.

Yes I have attempted this already but I found that the fan I was using only had 1 positive pin so I could only do +- but I couldn't put in the other positive as their was only 1 + pin if you understand what I'm saying.

Lol never mind i figured it out, if its a 3 pin fan you plug it in +- and you only need the other positive if you are hooking up two fans. Thanks for all of the help i have received and this thread can be closed
