Xenon Xbox 360 Fails To Power Up
« on: May 23, 2013, 09:41:00 PM »

The first thing you could try is to replace the 1.8 power reg specifically.  You said you use a 1.5, but maybe it was not an appropriate transistor for that location.  The package might have been similar but the directional flow might have been different.

Match the 1.8 perfectly.  Buy at least three.  In case you blow out the first replacement.

You have a Xenon.  Check your Ana chip connections really closely.  Go to magnification.  Check the leg connections.  Look for popped joints or stray solder.

Hopefully you don't have a GND breach.  I have a damaged Jasper where a 12v connection on the board is shorted to Ground by a breach.  One plane breached upon the other.  Still equal short.
